I’m always searching for the best oils and waxes for my wood projects , as you already know these aremy favorite types of wood finishing .
So let me give some of the best danish oil suggestions from the markets .
The Tried & True Danish Oil , polymerized linseed oil Food Safe .
This version of danish oil is a very popular one and it’s very high quality one . When the pure linseed oil polymerised( gets older ) and with the help of heat treatment , it becomes danish oil , pure and top .
This is the case with this polymerised linseed oil from the Tried & True and it’s a very nice and safe solution for your indoors woodcrafts and not only your kitchen’s equipment .
It’s safe for the skin , it’s food safe and you can use it to finish any “sensitive” wood creation of yours , wooden toys , handles , the upper surface of your tables you touch so often , et.c .
It creates a very nice patina finishing and in my opinion the safeness it gives , makes it a super product for many crafts . This safe formula goes back in time for 125 years !!!!!
It doesn’t have any chems , salts , et.c in it , it dries normal fast as all the oils without solvents in them .
It’s a super solution for the ones who want an oil for finishing .
Go to the Amazon for the last details and get it here .
The Rust-Oleum Watco Danish Oil .
This isn’t a food safe danish oil from Rust – Oleum , but it’s a very nice one for your indoors , except the floors . It’s not so good for the floor finishing and protection .
This is a mixture of oils and varnish and it’s designed to penetrate as deeper as it can to your wood , in order to protect and rise its grain beautiness , from its fibers .
It needs a couple of hours to dry , depending of course from many factors , but this time isn’t very long , 6 or more hours , would be fine .
This is classical wood finish , well known and the brand is highly respectable . The color is dark walnut .
Amazon has the rest for your purchase , just go here .
The golden oak version which is a very popular one , having the exact same features with the above dark walnut , is this and you can get it also from the Amazon .
I’ll be back to add more danish oil suggestions for you , keep woodworking and remain cool and happy .
