This solid beechwood and very lightweight (under a kilo) miter box , is a very good choice for all the woodworkers , amateur or or not . Lightweight yes , but very well made also .

You’ll do the basic angle cuts ( 45o & 90o ) more than fine and accurate and by holding in your arms a solid wooden costruction , giving you high cutting security .
Its’ small but capable , solid , precise and it has the wood’s feeling . Faithful company provides very nice quality tools , targeting the “golden” balance of money and quality .
The next miter box – frame , i suggest you to have is super efficient and it’s targeted to your wooden board cuts , up to 100mm height . You can make accurate cuts from 85o to 180o angle and i don’t think you’ll find more convinient one .
It sin’t hard to use it and your frame cuttings will never be so easy and precise to cut . The steel is the appropriate alloy one and it comes from the Wolfcraft company .

I don’t think you should spend more money in this area of wood tools and having one of the above or all , you can have all your basic cuts and more , with precision and accuracy .
Especially the last miter box is one of my favorite tools because it’s super easy to use and you can do many stuff .
