The power miter saw gives precision and high accuracy cross-cuts , bevel cuts , in your wooden boards and stuff and even if it seems you can skip it and do the job with a circular saw , this isn’t the case .
The power tools area is for sure more expensive area than the hand tools , but you need both .
Using power and hand tools , you’ll save time , effort , sweat and you’ll be more professional woodworker for sure .

The Metabo HPT 10-Inch Miter Saw , Single Bevel , Compound .
Metabo is Hitachi renamed and this power miter saw which is slightly above the 100$ , is a very good and economical saw choice for a single bevel miter saw . It has all the 0o – 45o range of angle bevel cuts and can reach the 5.000RPM , having enough power .

It ocmes with a Swanson square within , it has a large table to secure your wood pieces and its handle is horizontal .
Extra nice feature : It has an electric brake which halts the rotation of the blade within seconds preventing unintended cuts .
I think it’s a nice and a very affordable choice for a single bevel saw , without making quality “discounts” , for your basic cuts .
** If you want to give a 50$ – 60$ more and combine your buy with an extra circular saw having a set of a power miter saw + a circular saw , purchase this very economical set from Amazon here .
The DEWALT Miter Saw , Single Bevel , Compound, 10-Inch .
If you elevate your price for a 100$ more this Dewalt single bevel and 10″ inch blade , power miter saw is for sure a “wise” and “honest” solution .
It has a tall fence to support 4-1/4″ base vertically and hard coated lens for scratch protection .

Dewalt doesn’t need much of an intruduction and accuracy and stamina , are basic features .
A feature to improve : When you have the blade down and press the button , it cuts . Maybe this should be avoided , even if nobody will engage cutting in a down locked blade .
** On Amazon you can find Dewalt 12″ single bevel power miter saw( way more expensive ) , but i think i this area of money this will be enough for a single bevel , maybe .
The Bosch Power Tools 12 Inch Corded Dual-Bevel Sliding Glide Miter Saw with 60 Tooth .
This battery powerred and fully portable Bosch power miter saw is a very good saw choice , having all the possible cutting capabilities . It’s a dual compound saw and it’s sliding also , in order to cut wider boards , in all the angles you like .

It has a 14″ horizontal cutting capacity and 6-1/2″ in vertical and its 60 teeth blade is giving the best possible cutting accuracy . OK , of course the Bosch brand is beyond any criticism concerning the quality .
The DEWALT Miter Saw, 12 Inch, 15 Amp , Double Bevel Capacity , With Sliding Compound .
This Dewalt 12″ , double bevel and sliding compound miter saw , i think is the best to be your top money level power miter saw .
Ok , if you can to spend more than the 700$(+-) , for a power miter saw do it , but i strongly believe this is the best 12″ + double bevel + Sliding compound combination .
