When you grab and rise a little of your paint – finish while you mix it , this quantity should be vanished , the moment it goes back to the bucket .

Does Paint , go Further with a Brush or a Roller ?

You should not use a foam roller for oils and general oil based finishes and not as a brush trying to reach the difficult areas of a tough design .

They cannot reach the difficult areas of the edges , tough designs ,et.c , they need kind of a more strong pressure and you cannot have a variety of softness or hardness for them . Either there are soft or hard .

Does a Roller use , Less paint than a Brush ?

No , it cannot win a brush for the amount of the material you can hold and grab , because with a brush you can grab only a tiny amount of paint in the tiny edge of it , thing you cannot do with the circular roller .

Is it Better to Paint with a Brush or a Spray ?

This depends from the type of surface( flat or not ) , the general design you have and of course your personal preferences for he final result .

The spray is more easy and gives more smoothness and uniformity , not that you cannot make excellent results with a nice brush , but the spray “wins” in here .

Should you Paint Furniture , with a Roller or a Brush ?

The brush will allow you to paint your entire furniture , while the roller is more for the flat surfaces .

Are Cheap paint brushes , OK ?

No , if you want to the best possible final result and the best possible economy to your finish , while the cheap brushes , hold more material on them .

Is it Better to Apply Varnish with a Cloth or Brush ?

The brush applying is way better for your varnish type of finish .

Is it Better to Brush Varnish or Spray ?

If your varnish isn’t only a final coat and you need more wood penetration to its fibers , the brush is better than the spray .

Why are Purdy brushes , so Expensive ?

Because there are top quality and some say that there are the Ferrari’s for wood finishing and i cannot argue them .

Even if the brushes and the rollers are maybe seem as not something very important , for your woodworking projects and final appearence , i suggest you highly to give them them the appropriate attention .
